jQuery TreeMap - Fields

Fields that provide information on the treemap node.

data

The object from the data source visualized by the node.

index

The index of the current node in the array of all nodes on the same level.

Type:

Number

Along with level, this field allows you to identify the position of the node in the hierarchy of nodes. The root node always has level -1 and index -1. The indexing of nodes on each nested level starts anew from 0.

level

The level that the current node occupies in the hierarchy of nodes.

Type:

Number

Along with index, this field allows you to identify the position of the node in the hierarchy of nodes. For example, the root node always has level -1 and index -1. Its children have level 0, the children's children have level 1, and so forth.
