UI Widgets

This section describes the widgets that ship with DevExtreme.

Accordion

A widget that displays data source items on collapsible panels.

ActionSheet

A widget consisting of a set of choices related to a certain task.

Autocomplete

A textbox widget that supports autocompletion.

Box

A container widget used to arrange inner elements.

Button

A button widget.

Calendar

A calendar widget.

CheckBox

A check box widget.

ColorBox

A widget used to specify a color value.

ColorPicker

A widget used to specify a color value.

ContextMenu

A context menu widget.

DataGrid

A data grid widget.

DateBox

A date box widget.

FileUploader

A widget used to select and upload a file or multiple files.

Gallery

An image gallery widget.

List

A list widget.

LoadIndicator

The widget used to indicate the loading process.

LoadPanel

A widget used to indicate whether or not an element is loading.

Lookup

A widget that allows a user to select predefined values from a lookup window.

Map

An interactive map widget.

Menu

A menu widget.

MultiView

A widget used to display a view and to switch between several views.

NavBar

A widget that contains items used to navigate through application views.

NumberBox

A textbox widget that enables a user to enter numeric values.

Panorama

A widget displaying the required content in a long horizontal canvas that extends beyond the frames of the screen.

Pivot

A widget that is similar to a traditional tab control, but optimized for the phone with simplified end-user interaction.

Popover

A widget that displays the required content in a popup window.

Popup

A widget that displays required content in a popup window.

ProgressBar

A widget used to indicate progress.

RadioGroup

A widget that enables a user to select one item within a list of items represented by radio buttons.

RangeSlider

A widget that enables a user to select a range of numeric values.

ResponsiveBox

A widget used to build an adaptive markup that is dependent on screen resolution.

ScrollView

A widget used to display scrollable content.

SelectBox

A widget that allows you to select an item in a dropdown list.

SlideOut

The widget that allows you to slide-out the current view to reveal an item list.

Slider

A widget that allows a user to select a numeric value within a given range.

Switch

A switch widget.

TabPanel

A widget used to display a view and to switch between several views by clicking the appropriate tabs.

Tabs

A tab strip used to switch between pages.

TagBox

A widget that allows you to select multiple items from a dropdown list.

TextArea

A widget used to display and edit multi-line text.

A single-line text box widget.

TileView

A widget displaying several blocks of data as tiles.

Toast

The toast message widget.

Toolbar

A toolbar widget.

Tooltip

A tooltip widget.

TreeView

A widget displaying specified data items as a tree.

ValidationGroup

The widget that is used in the Knockout and Angular approaches to combine the editors to be validated.

ValidationSummary

A widget for displaying the result of checking validation rules for editors.

Validator

A widget that is used to validate the associated DevExtreme editors against the defined validation rules.
