Data Visualization Widgets LinearGauge

A widget that represents a gauge with a linear scale.

Included in: dx.chartjs.js, dx.all.js

The dxLinearGauge widget allows you to present meaningful values on a numeric circular scale. The values can be displayed using different indicators such as needles, markers and range bars. In addition, different meaningful ranges can be highlighted on the scale.

You can create a widget using one of the following approaches.

  • jQuery
    Use the dxLinearGauge jQuery plug-in.

    HTML
    <div id="gaugeContainer"></div>
    JavaScript
    $("#gaugeContainer").dxLinearGauge({
        scale: {
            startValue: 0,
            endValue: 5,
            majorTick: {
                tickInterval: 2.5
            }
        },
        value: 4.3
    });
  • Knockout
    Add a div element and apply the dxLinearGauge binding to this element.

    HTML
    <div data-bind="dxLinearGauge: {
        scale: {
            startValue: 0,
            endValue: 5,
            majorTick: {
                tickInterval: 2.5
            }
        },
        value: 4.3
    }"></div>
  • Angular
    Add a div element and apply the dx-linear-gauge directive to this element.

    HTML
    <div dx-linear-gauge="{
        scale: {
            startValue: 0,
            endValue: 5,
            majorTick: {
                tickInterval: 2.5
            }
        },
        value: 4.3
    }"></div>

Note that DevExtreme widgets require you to link the jQuery and Globalize libraries to your application. If you use the Knockout or Angular approach, the Knockout or Angular library is also required.
