image

An object specifying the parameters of an image that is used as a point marker.

In a common case, chart points are represented by default point markers. However, you can use a custom image as a point marker. To do this, specify the options of the image object. Assign a URL leading to your image to the url option. If the size of your image does not correspond to your needs, specify the width and height options.

NOTE
If you do not need to resize your image, you can assign an image URL directly to the image field.

Refer to our Visualization Gallery to see the demo.

height

Specifies the height of an image that is used as a point marker.

Normally, this option accepts a numeric value, but if you have a series of the range area type, you may want to specify different heights for the minimum and maximum points. In that instance, define an object with the rangeMinPoint and rangeMaxPoint fields specified and assign it to the height option.

url

Specifies a URL leading to the image to be used as a point marker.

Normally, this option accepts one URL as a string value, but if you have a series of the range area type, you may want to specify different images for the minimum and maximum points. In that instance, define an object with the rangeMinPoint and rangeMaxPoint fields specified and assign it to the url option.

width

Specifies the width of an image that is used as a point marker.

Normally, this option accepts a numeric value, but if you have a series of the range area type, you may want to specify different widths for the minimum and maximum points. In that instance, define an object with the rangeMinPoint and rangeMaxPoint fields specified and assign it to the width option.
