This section describes the Guid constructors and methods used to obtain the value held in the Guid instance.

ctor()

Creates a new Guid instance holding the generated GUID.

var guid = new DevExpress.data.Guid();

ctor(value)

Creates a new Guid instance that holds the specified GUID.

Parameters:
value: String
A string representation of the GUID.

The separators in the value argument are optional.

var guid = new DevExpress.data.Guid("40810dcc-e08b-10a2-8227-c67c8933c31a");

toString()

Returns a string representation of the Guid instance.

Return Value: String
A string containing the GUID.

valueOf()

Returns a string representation of the Guid instance.

Return Value: String
A string containing the GUID.
