jQuery TabPanel Default Item Template

This section lists the data source fields that are used in a default template for tab panel items.

Type:

Object

By default, a predefined item template is applied to display the items of this widget. This template is based on certain fields of the data source provided for this widget. Below is a list of these fields. If the default item template is not appropriate for your task, implement a custom item template based on these or other fields of your data source.

disabled

Specifies whether a widget item should be disabled.

Specifies html code inserted into the widget item element.

Specifies the icon to be displayed in the tab's title.

This option accepts one of the following:

render

An alias for the template option specified in React. Accepts a rendering function. Refer to Using a Rendering Function for more information.

tabComponent

An alias for the tabTemplate option specified in React. Accepts a custom component. Refer to Using a Custom Component for more information.

tabRender

An alias for the tabTemplate option specified in React. Accepts a rendering function. Refer to Using a Rendering Function for more information.

tabTemplate

Specifies a template that should be used to render the tab for this item only.

Template Data: undefined

Whether you use a default or a custom template for tab items, you can specify a specific template for a particular tab item. To do so, set the tabTemplate field for the data source object of this tab. The following types of the specified value are available.

  • Assign a string containing the name of the required template.
  • Assign a jQuery object of the template's container.
  • Assign a DOM Node of the template's container.
  • Assign a function that returns the jQuery object or a DOM Node of the template's container.

NOTE

In Angular, the title's value can also be passed to browser tooltip. This happens because this option has the same name as the HTML attribute that specifies the tooltip's text.
To avoid this behavior, wrap the property in square brackets and wrap the property value in single quotes:
