jQuery Chart - series.hoverStyle.border

Configures the appearance adopted by the series border (in area-like series) or the series point border (in bar-like and bubble series) when a user points to the series.

This option supports the following colors:

dashStyle

Sets a dash style for the series border (in area-like series) or for the series point border (in bar-like and bubble series) when a user points to the series.

Type:

Default Value: 'solid'
Accepted Values: 'dash' | 'dot' | 'longDash' | 'solid'

The following values are available.

  • solid
    Displays the border as a solid, continuous line.
  • longDash
    Displays the border using long dashes.
  • dash
    Displays the border using dashes.
  • dot
    Displays the border using dots.
  • Any combination of 'longDash', 'dash' and 'dot'
    Displays the border by repeating the specified combination. For instance, 'dashdotdash'.

Use the DashStyle enum to specify this option when the widget is used as an ASP.NET MVC Control. This enum accepts the following values: Solid, LongDash, Dash, and Dot.

visible

Shows the series border (in area-like series) or the series point border (in bar-like and bubble series) when a user points to the series.

NOTE
Setting this option to true takes effect only if you have also set the hoverStyle.border.color option.

width

Sets a pixel-measured width for the series border (in area-like series) or for the series point border (in bar-like and bubble series) when a user points to the series.
