jQuery Form - SimpleItem.label

Specifies options for the form item label.

Type:

Default Value: undefined

alignment

Specifies the label's horizontal alignment.

Type:

Default Value: 'left'

Accepted Values: 'center' | 'left' | 'right'

Use the HorizontalAlignment enum to specify this option when the widget is used as an ASP.NET MVC 5 Control or a DevExtreme-Based ASP.NET Core Control. This enum accepts the following values: Left, Right, and Center.

Specifies the location of a label against the editor.

Type:

Default Value: 'left'

Accepted Values: 'left' | 'right' | 'top'

NOTE

This option has higher priority than the labelLocation option of the form.

Use the FormLabelLocation enum to specify this option when the widget is used as an ASP.NET MVC 5 Control or a DevExtreme-Based ASP.NET Core Control. This enum accepts the following values: Left, Right, and Top.

Specifies whether or not a colon is displayed at the end of the current label.

Type:

Default Value: from showColonAfterLabel

NOTE

This option has higher priority than the showColonAfterLabel option of the form.

Specifies the label text.

Type:

Default Value: undefined

Specifies whether or not the label is visible.

Type:

Default Value: true
