Angular Funnel Methods

This section describes the methods that control the Funnel UI component.

See Also

beginUpdate()

Prevents the UI component from refreshing until the endUpdate() method is called.

The beginUpdate() and endUpdate() methods prevent the UI component from excessive updates when you are changing multiple UI component settings at once. After the beginUpdate() method is called, the UI component does not update its UI until the endUpdate() method is called.

clearSelection()

Cancels the selection of all funnel items.

See onItemClick to learn how to implement selection.

See Also

dispose()

Disposes of all the resources allocated to the Funnel instance.

After calling this method, remove the DOM element associated with the UI component:

JavaScript
$("#myFunnel").dxFunnel("dispose");
$("#myFunnel").remove();

Use this method only if the UI component was created with jQuery or pure JavaScript. In Angular, Vue, and React, use conditional rendering:

Angular
app.component.html
<dx-funnel ...
    *ngIf="condition">
</dx-funnel>
Vue
App.vue
<template>
    <DxFunnel ...
        v-if="condition">
    </DxFunnel>
</template>

<script>
import DxFunnel from 'devextreme-vue/funnel';

export default {
    components: {
        DxFunnel
    }
}
</script>
React
App.js
import React from 'react';

import Funnel from 'devextreme-react/funnel';

function DxFunnel(props) {
    if (!props.shouldRender) {
        return null;
    }

    return (
        <Funnel ... >
        </Funnel>
    );
}

class App extends React.Component {
    render() {
        return (
            <DxFunnel shouldRender="condition" />
        );
    }
}
export default App;
